HLOHOVEC TERROIR
GOLGUZ belongs to the Hlohovec terroir, which in a broader context forms a significant part of the Malokarpatska wine-growing region. The specificity of this wine-growing locality is the location and proximity of the Váh river, which has a positive effect on the microclimatic conditions and thus completes the unique character of this wine-growing locality

LOCATION OF WINEYARDS
The vineyards of the GOLGUZ winery cover a total area of 240 ha and are largely located between the villages of Bojničky and Dvorníky in a locality called Panonia. The characteristic feature of the Panonia vineyards is the ripples, reminiscent of the famous Burgundy region. The location of the vineyards is divided into 2 wine hunting grounds TALIČMANY and VEĽKÝ HÁJ

GOLGUZ AND PANONIA
Vineyards and viticultural activity belonged to the portfolio of the agricultural company Food Farm, sro. Despite the relatively long history of viticulture and winemaking, the GOLGUZ premium wine brand was not established until 2007 as a separate division. After the separation of the winery from the company Food Farm sro, a new company Panonia Winery sro was established in 2018, which is the new owner of the vineyards and winery GOLGUZ

UNIQUE LOCATION OF WINEYARS
The vineyards in the Veľký Háj and Taličmany hunts belong to the microclimate, which is significantly influenced by the Váh River, which creates a unique geographical and geological environment.
